6TH BALKAN SYMPOSIUM OF ARCHAEOMETRY

25.–28. September 2018, National Museum of Slovenia – Metelkova

In archaeological context, the Balkan peninsula is bridging two large areas, one centred around Danube and its tributaries, and the other on the eastern Mediterranean. This represents a large cultural space that remains unique in spite of very diverse modern political divisions.

The present symposium is devoted to the application of modern physical and chemical methods for the investigation of the objects of cultural heritage, and in a more modern context, to the exploration of archaeological landscape.
